Robins

Welcome to the Reception and Year 1 Robins Page
The Robins have learnt the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty, they have been listened out for rhyming words and discussing who might have pushed Humpty Dumpty and why he wasn’t able to be put back together.

The Robins decorated their own Humpty Dumpty eggs and experimented building them protective jumpsuits, before pushing their eggs off the wall in the playground! Great investigating Robins, well done!
The Robins Class have been busy learning the story of the Gingerbread Man. They have baked their own gingerbread biscuits and then had to track them down using a map when they ran away - fantastic detective work Robins!
Robins have been learning about harvest and why we need scarecrows. They made scarecrows out of wooden spoons, straw, pipe cleaners. They designed shirts for the scarecrows using different materials.
